This community started out as an idea from a group of friends, to motivate ourselves on our weekly hikes. We started 3 years ago at the El Paso, Tx. area. We had no experience in the outdoors, but we had a big desire to bring adventure into our lives.

Now, we want to motivate our community to spend more time outside.

About us

Mountain Monday started as an accident, a happy accident. A need to share an experience that was foreign to us but might connect us to other people on the same journey. This happy accident eventually led us to a journey on self discovery and self awareness.

We live in a try state community with beautiful mountains for our backyard, so that made our decision even easier to go out and explore.

We also discovered the benefits that come along with getting outside and enjoying nature. Better health is an obvious outcome but you never expect the mental clarity and sense of accomplishment that comes along with it.

A breathe of fresh mountain air will definitely bring back joy to your head and your self esteem.
